FL Player of the Week

 At the age of 30, Dave Rowe might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Boston catcher put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Rowe collected the Freedom League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 6 games. For the year Rowe is batting .254 with 136 hits and 25 home runs. He has scored 83 times and driven in 75.

LL Player of the Week

Columbus Knights right fielder Mike Setser rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Liberty League. Setser put up a .440 batting average (11-25) with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 7 times. This year Setser has hit at a .257 pace and produced 61 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 73 runs.
