 | Liberty League Names Palmer Best Batter
Monday, June 29th, 2020: There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Billy Palmer, the Houston center fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Liberty League Player of the Week honors.
Palmer piled up 14 hits in 30 at-bats, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs while hitting .467.
This year Palmer is hitting .329, produced 52 RBIs and 10 home runs, scored 50 times and gotten on base at a .388 rate. |

Monday, June 29th, 2020: 25-year-old Oscar Hall sent shock waves through United States Baseball Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Freedom League Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Hall made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .560 average, 14 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 runs batted in.
Where the Hawaii Tsunami right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Hall certainly made his mark last week.
This year Hall is batting .349 with 22 home runs and 65 RBIs. |
