Gothams starting pitcher Ralph Molina could miss 2 weeks with fractured ribs he suffered while falling off the stage at an Awards Ceremony. At first club officials were concerned that Molina might miss additional time, but doctors have revised their earlier assessment.

 | Saturday, February 20th, 2010: Veteran Calloway Agrees to 1-Year Deal
Alaska came to terms with veteran center fielder Brent Calloway today, locking up the 39-year-old to a $13,210,000, 1-year deal.
In his career Calloway has accumulated a .277 batting average with 2222 hits. His totals include 411 doubles, 85 triples, 293 home runs, 1576 strikeouts, 1481 runs scored, 1165 RBIs and a lifetime .381 OBP. |

Richmond fans embraced the signing of John Sae today with a few doubts. While most were appreciative that the club had signed a solid ballplayer, they were also concerned about his reputation as a "me first" kind of guy.
Sae was signed for $3,320,000 over 2 years.
Sae has 67 wins and 53 losses over his career in addition to 153 saves. He has posted a career 3.35 ERA and recorded 752 strikeouts in 1077.2 innings. |
