 | Wednesday, August 5th, 2009: San Antonio and Fernandez Agree on Extension San Antonio officials and Pruden Fernandez shook hands on a $4,760,000 deal today. The extension will keep Fernandez from becoming a free agent for at least 2 years. He has 37 relief appearances this year with 19 saves. Fernandez has also compiled a 3-5 won-lost mark with a 4.11 ERA. In 35 innings he has fanned 26. |
