 | Monday, August 17th, 2009: Liberty League's Best Batter Named Isaac Infante demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Liberty League Player of the Week Award. The Houston first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .481 average (13-27) with 5 home runs and 7 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season, Infante has recorded a .341 batting average with 167 hits, 32 home runs, 92 RBIs, 83 runs scored and a .386 OBP. |
