 | Saturday, February 20th, 2010: Veteran Cane, Phoenix Complete Deal Phoenix fans were pleased with the signing of Drew Cane today. The 38-year-old inked a 1-year, $1,370,000 deal with the Scorchers. Though his numbers don't jump out at you, Cane does fill a void for Phoenix, according to several respected analysts. Cane has appeared in 1308 games and captured 574 saves over his career. He has 119 wins and 123 losses and a 3.70 ERA with 1585 strikeouts in 1492.1 innings. |
