Monday, September 14th, 2009: Barrage of Hits Gets Lawrence LL Award
His solid numbers speak for themselves. That's why Steve Lawrence of the San Antonio Gunslingers was named the Liberty League Player of the Week.

For the week Lawrence batted .478 (11-23) with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs.

Thus far in 2009 Lawrence has hit .358 with 42 home runs, 130 RBIs and scored 104 runs.

Saturday, September 5th, 2009: Hendley Wallops #500
Raymond Hendley hit a historic home run today -- career blast number 500. "I am happy to be in such elite company. It has been quite a ride so far," Hendley said after the game.

The Gunslingers second baseman went 1 for 3 with 1 home run and 1 run batted in as the San Antonio Gunslingers won 17-2 over the Houston Apollos.

Taking a look at his lifetime stats, Hendley is hitting .275 with a total of 500 home runs.

Monday, August 31st, 2009: Player of the Week: Lawrence of the Gunslingers
The Liberty League has selected its Player of the Week. The honor went to Steve Lawrence, shortstop of the San Antonio Gunslingers.

In a standout performance, he lit up the league with a .579 average to win the award. Lawrence went 11-19 for the week, totaled 5 home runs with 8 RBIs and scored 8 times.

Lawrence is currently batting .349 with 38 home runs and 114 RBIs.
