Allegedly, John Jenkins has asked to be traded from Virginia Beach. It is rumored that he is unhappy with fans and the team management and that maybe the pressure and demands of playing here are too great.

 | Saturday, September 11th, 2010: Dixon and Ruiz Suspended 2 Games For Brawl
Ft. Worth and Virginia Beach were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 2-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Blackbears Ballpark.
For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Fury Kevin Dixon and the Stingrays Rafael Ruiz will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served.
To date this season Dixon is hitting .321 with 13 home runs.
Currently Ruiz has a record of 10-12 with 90 strikeouts and 83 walks in 150.2 innings and a 5.32 ERA.

So far in his young career, Gin-fan Rui has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Patriot League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 21-year-old Virginia Beach Stingrays catcher hit at a torrid .591 clip as he collected 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs, 2 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
Thus far this season in 103 games Rui is batting .304 with 9 home runs, 44 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 135 hits in 444 at-bats.
