Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010: Molina Voted FL Platinum Rookie
Ralph Molina's age didn't show very often in his first year. He performed more like a veteran on the hill for the New York Gothams and today he walked away with the 2010 Freedom League Platinum Rookie.

The 21-year-old starter registered a 21-6 record this season in 34 starts. Over 237.1 innings he gave up 171 hits, struck out 304 and issued 99 walks as he held the opposition to a .201 batting average and fashioned a 2.46 ERA.

Sunday, October 31st, 2010: Knights Beat Gothams in USBA World Championship
It was a storybook year for the Columbus Knights as they closed out a 4-3 series win over the New York Gothams to claim the 2010 USBA World Championship. They wrapped it up with a 12-2 victory to cap an incredible season and brought home their 1st championship.

The Knights manager gave his view of the series, "We had a lot of things going for us, offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes to win a USBA World Championship."

"We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year," said the Gothams manager. "They played better baseball than us and they beat us."

During the Liberty League Yankee regular season Columbus put up a 105-57 record and finished first.

Friday, October 15th, 2010: Kissinger Signs for 3 years
Happy times in New York as the Gothams and star first baseman Dennis Kissinger put the finishing touches on a $12,240,000 contract extension that will keep the 32-year-old in town 3 years longer.

The signing is great news for New York because players of this caliber are hard to come by.

Kissinger is hitting .286 this season with 14 home runs, 81 RBIs and 71 runs scored. He has 144 hits in 503 at-bats.
