Sunday, September 26th, 2010: DL's Best Hurler is Puente
The Williamsport clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Pedro Puente will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2010 Dixie League AA Bronze Arm.

Puente made 27 starts this year, winning 15 and losing 6. He threw 173.1 innings, fanned 195, allowed 141 hits and 71 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .215 average as he logged an impressive 2.80 ERA.

Friday, August 13th, 2010: Taki Dominates Bears in Shutout
"He's mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," the Naperville manager said. "When Taki does that, good things happen."

These comments came after Mesrak Taki and the Naperville Redhawks shut out the Williamsport Bears 4-0.

He had 6 strikeouts, 1 walk and allowed 5 hits.

Charlie Roger of the Williamsport Bears blanked Mobile 3-0 on a 3-hit complete-game shutout, striking out 8 batters and walking 1.

In 23 starts this year Roger has recorded a 11-4 record and a 3.25 ERA.
